Based on the displeasure that fans are manifesting during DC FanDome, it is apparent that the majority of NetherRealm fans expect a third Injustice installment on next. While waiting patiently and optimistically for an announcement of Injustice 3, fans have shared humorous stories of their reactions to the apparent lack of news. If one even happens, it may take some time before a new Injustice game will debut. With no such news coming to the rescue of DC FanDome, fans have been left feeling deflated. Fans have already begun to wishlist different characters that may appear in an Injustice 3. Mortal Kombat 11, which is now being released, has been finalized after the launch of NetherRealm’s latest game. Since then, fans of NetherRealm have expressed their disappointment with the discovery. While DC FanDome 2021 is still out at the time of this writing, it is unlikely that a third Injustice installment will be announced. The Next AAA Title of NetherRealm Studios, which is set to be released Sooner rather than Later, has been mentioned. Regardless of how fans and critics respond to the film, many still wish to see if another Injustice-related announcement had been made during the showcase. But, as Boon states, the film takes care of the comic book remake rather than the games. They were asked about their views on the film and, in particular, Boon’s reaction to seeing the animated adaptation of Injustice: Gods Among Us. Since then, WB Games has released Mortal Kombat 11 Aftermath – a new expansion for MK11 that added the likes of Robocop, Sheeva and Fujin.
